From Orlando to the middle of the everglades I could not find a clear channel with this transmitter. Its cool looking but just not worth the money, I rather have spent 60 bucks on something that works than wasted 25 I spent on this.

Terrible transmitter, I have another transmitter for a different IPod and I was able to compare both products, this one works very poorly.

I've never heard so much static!! The sound quality is poor as well. I went through all the stations on this thing and couldn't find ONE that didn't have feedback or static. $20 yeah, but you get what you pay for. I would save your money for something better. I'm returning this piece of junk.

I bought this transmitter because it had the charger. The quality totally sucks. There is fuzz all the time, even on the blank stations. I have tried it in 3 different cars with the same result. This transmitter is a total waste of money. Don't buy it.

My new car, a Mazda 6, isn't very friendly to after-market radios, so there's no chance I'll be able to put an Aux-In jack in my car. So I went hunting for some kind of dock or transmitter to listen to my pretty sizable music library in my car. I found this and it seemed pretty high quality, and at around 20 bucks, a better deal than similar products I'd seen. However, when I got it, I was pretty disappointed in the quality. Now, don't get me wrong, the quality of the product itself is fairly high. The transmitter's LCD blue screen is attractive and the Buttons to change the frequency are easy to use. The remote that's included with the transmitter is a little corny, made to resemble an iPod Touch or iPhone. I would have preferred just a black remote with gray buttons.
I probably set my hopes too high for something like this, but when I chose the nearest seemingly empty frequency, tuned the transmitter into it, and pressed play on my iPod, I was disappointed. For some reason, treble doesn't carry well at all on the signal, and bass is really distorted. I had to crank up the treble in my iPod's EQ to compensate for it, and it's just too much hassle. When you're using the charger while transmitting, there's a extremely high-pitched whistling or squealing that gets pretty annoying.
I used it only once, and it's just been sitting in my car ever since. I wish the quality of sound would have been higher. Maybe you should try a higher-priced model, but I'm not even sure that would improve anything. Overall, the flaws of the sound quality, gaudy remote, and the squealing with the charger make it too much of a hassle to use.
