"THIS IS A RECALLED USB POWER ADAPTER" 2009-06-01
By BJT (GEORGETOWN, TX)
UPON RECEIVING THIS ADAPTER I NOTICED THAT THE PRONGS ARE SQUARED ON THE ENDS NOT LIKE THE ONE SHOWN. APPLE SUPPLIED THIS WITH MY 3G WHEN I FIRST RECEIVED MY PHONE HOWEVER THEY RECALLED THIS STYLE AND REPLACED IT WITH ONE THAT IS SLIGHTLY TAPERED ON THE ENDS, SAYING THAT THE SQUARE PRONGS WAS NOT SAFE TO USE. THE PICTURE CLEARLY SHOWS THE NEW VERSION AND SO IT IS DECEPTIVE. NO WONDER THE PRICE WAS LESS THAN HALF THE CORRECT VERSION.

 "Highly Disappointed!!" 2009-07-13
By Jogging Mama
I'm highly disappointed with this product! First of all it's a tiiiiiiight squeeze. I literally thought I was going to rip the armband trying to get my nano into it! Second, the nano doesn't even fit in it all the way!! If I put the nano all the way in, the screen/dial placement is off...if I line it up with the windows for the screen/dial then I can't secure the flap once I put the Nike+ attachment on. There is no way to access the 'hold' bar at all. There is no place for the cord to your earphones. The strap has velcro dots, that are spaced pretty far apart, instead of a strip, so its difficult to find a comfy spot. Don't waste your money! I can't believe Apple came out with such a horrible product!!

"Ok if you dont stink!" 2008-05-08
By R. Killian
The arm band works well, holds the Ipod well, and does what it's supposed to do. However it is made of some type of leather and is worn under the armpit. It is not easily cleaned and therefore collects an odor over time if you are using it for heavy workouts.

"Awsome but bit 2 small for my arm" 2007-01-24
By Michael P. Sandoval (Texas)
My sister had this and let me have it since it was to big for her.

But it fits great if u have a decent size arm problem but my arm is bit to big for it , But when i have it on,it only fits on the 2nd to last Velcro Dot.

But once i got it on,it feels great for working out even when im doing bicep curls.

Though i wish the screen wasnt exposed like it is a top cover woulda been nice.

And yes the price is a little outrageous.

"Red Armband for iPod Nano" 2007-01-15
By Michael J. Cappello (Los Angeles, CA)
For the ladies, this arm band tends to slip down the biceps if you don't have muscular guns like a man....

 "useful accessory" 2007-01-10
By suburban mom (houston, tx)
I use this armband in my cycling class and daily gym workouts. Because it was made by Apple, it fits my Nano perfectly. However, I think it was overpriced for what it is.

This Is Genius
Control your Genius. Or leave it to its own devices. Either way, Genius explores your library and finds songs that go great together.

Genius Playlists
Say you have one song you really love and want to hear other tracks that go great with it. A few clicks on iPod nano, and Genius uses that song to find other songs in your library and makes a Genius playlist for you. You can listen to the playlist right away, save it for later, or even refresh and give it another go. Count on Genius to create combinations you wouldn't have thought of yourself.

Genius Mixes
Now there's another great way to get a customized set of songs on iPod nano--have Genius do all the work. Introducing Genius Mixes. All you do is sync your iPod nano to iTunes, and Genius automatically searches your library and finds songs that sound great together to create up to 12 Genius Mixes. These mixes are like channels programmed entirely with your music. It's a great way to rediscover songs you haven't listened to in forever, and some you even forgot you had.

Go with the Cover Flow
View your album art in Cover Flow for a faster way to find the song you want to hear. Or just press and hold the button to flip the album cover art over so you can see the songs. When you find the right song, press the button to add it to your on-the-go playlist.

Shake to Shuffle Your Music
Hear songs in a totally random way. Just turn on Shake to Shuffle, then give iPod nano a shake and it shuffles to a different song in your music library. You never know what iPod nano will spin for you next.

Don't Just Listen to the Radio, Pause it and Tag it, Too
The new FM tuner lets you see the names of songs and artists. And two amazing features--iTunes Tagging and Live Pause--make listening to the radio nothing like listening to the radio.

FM Radio--it Gives You Yet Another Way to Rock
There's always something great on the FM dial. And now the FM tuner lets you hear your favorite morning shows on your commute and discover new music while you work out. It even shows you what and who you're listening to.1

With Live Pause, You'll Never Miss a Beat
Say you need to take a quick break from listening to your favorite radio station. iPod nano lets you pause it with a click. Another click and you're listening to your station again. You can even rewind as far back as 15 minutes, then fast-forward to catch up to the live broadcast.

iTunes Tagging--the New-Fashioned Way to Discover Music
It's quite a dilemma: You're listening to the radio and you hear a song you like, but when you go to iTunes, you can't remember the name or even who sings it. Enter iTunes Tagging. Now, you can use the Click Wheel on iPod nano to tag the song. iTunes creates a list of all your tagged songs so you can easily preview or purchase them when you sync iPod nano to iTunes.

VoiceOver--the Talk of the Music World
VoiceOver tells you the title and artist of the songs you listen to. And does it so seamlessly, you'll be surprised at how brilliant it is.

Let's Talk VoiceOver
What if you're listening to a song and want to know the title or the artist? Just use the Click Wheel or the controls on the optional Apple Earphones with Remote and Mic and VoiceOver tells you the song name and who's performing it without interrupting your music. So you're never distracted from your ride or run by looking down at your screen.

The nano now includes an FM radio with iTunes Tagging and Live Pause functions.

Capture a thought, a reminder, a class lecture, or any audio recording you want with Voice Memos.

The new Pedometer counts every step you take. Or add Nike+ shoes and a Nike + iPod Sport Kit for the perfect workout partner.

How it Works
You'll notice how smoothly and easily VoiceOver works. A lot of thought went into creating an iPod nano that not only talks, but says the right things. It all begins with iTunes and its seamless integration with iPod nano. First, iTunes reads your song information, then uses the VoiceOver Kit to generate the announcements for the songs, artists, and playlists. Just sync your iPod nano to your computer and it really speaks to you.

It Speaks Multiple Languages
Your music library has songs from all over the world--a love song from France, a bolero from Spain, a pop tune from Japan. Luckily, VoiceOver speaks fluent song.

iTunes selects the language and best voice for your song titles and artist names. It looks at song data, like the title, artist, and album information, then applies intelligent algorithms to choose the right language. For example, iTunes recognizes the song "Ya Viene el Sol by Ozomatli as a Spanish song, so your iPod nano will automatically speak that song title and artist in Spanish. If you prefer to hear that information spoken in another language, you can change the designated VoiceOver language for that song in iTunes.

Hit the Ground Running--Or Walking
With the Nike + iPod Sport Kit (sold separately) and a built-in pedometer to help keep you motivated and track your fitness progress, iPod nano makes working out less routine.

Step it up with the New Pedometer
You take your iPod nano with you everywhere. Why not use it to stay fit? iPod nano now doubles as a Pedometer. It uses the built-in accelerometer to keep track of your steps and help you meet your fitness goals. You can create a daily step goal or set it to Always On so it counts all the steps you take, all the time. Which makes iPod nano the ideal exercise partner.

Rock and Run
Your shoes and your iPod nano team up to maximize your run. See the minutes tick by. Watch the miles unfold. Hear real-time voice feedback. All to your favorite music, including your chosen Power Song--that one song that always gets you through the home stretch.

Rock the Gym
Take Nike + iPod to the gym and minute by minute, mile by mile, you're motivated by more than music. Connect your iPod nano to a Nike + iPod compatible cardio machine. Record your pace, time, and distance as you work out. With iPod nano, every trip to the gym becomes a new challenge.

Sync
When you're finished, connect your iPod nano to your Mac or PC. iTunes automatically sends your workout data to nikeplus.com. Every workout and every run is there, ready for you to review. Get pumped for your next run with recommended challenges, custom training programs, and maps of new routes to try. Or share motivation with runners across the world.

Note to Self: Voice Memos Are Here
The built-in mic lets you capture a thought, a reminder, a class lecture, or any audio recording you want with Voice Memos.

iTunes: Your Greatest Hits
It's even easier to organize, browse, grow, and share your digital music and video collection with the new iTunes. And now you can save items with a wish list and enjoy iTunes extras--bonus features on select albums and movies--like lyrics, photos, interviews, and behind-the-scenes media.

I recently purchased the Ipod 5th Generation. Everything about this Ipod is awesome. I have no complaints. It's easy to use and has shows the pictures of the cd covers on the screen while the songs play. The other cool feature is that the is Ipod has Video which is cool. Not sure how many people will utilize this but it is a nice addition to the Ipod.

     "Terrible Product, Avoid it!" 2009-06-05
By The Man Hisself (Big City of Dreams)
This armband fell apart within five uses. The problem is that the entire thing is glued together--no stitching. The glue disintegrated and the armband started coming apart almost immediately upon use. Now it is in tatters and barely functional.

    Avoid it!

     "poor construction, cheap looking" 2009-01-31
    By J. Johnson (Florida)
I returned this item after opening it and realizing that the plastic had separated from the other material. It's poorly constructed, and you can't tell from the picture, but it looks cheap too. It's basically a piece of foam with some velcro and plastic glued (poorly) to it. However, MyGift was helpful and prompt in refunding me for the returned item.

     "GREAT IPOD FOR MUSIC" 2008-11-25
    By Gary G. Kelly
If you are looking for Ipod for music, this is the one. Easy to use small and has small screen to see what is playing. This is perfect for working in yard or exercising. Gary

     "Don't waste your money" 2008-10-07
    By B. Hubbard (Denver, CO)
Not only is this product ill-fitting for the nano (the edges block the "play/pause" button and the plastic cover makes the volume very difficult to control), but the whole mess began to fall apart at first use. Within a week, the Velcro backings had peeled off, rendering it unusable. I know the price is tempting, but you'd be better off spending a bit more and getting a quality product.

      By L. Hill (moo-town usa)
I am 40 and last music player i had was my Sony Walkman & Diskman! This Ipod is from another planet!! Who thought this deal up? It is still blowing my mind, the music quality is great and it has a brain, you just have to see it to believe it - easy to use and FUN! I love it and would recommend it to everyone, regardless of age! What a great little piece of technology! The seller sent it fast and I will buy from them again - Way to go Apple! WOW!! Now what to do with my albums/cassette tapes and CD's in the basement?? Hummmmm.

This is my third iPod, the others being a 40GB classic (hard drive model) and an 8GB 2g Nano (my wife's). I chose the Nano because I wanted something small and vibration tolerant that I could listen to while active (doing chores, exercising, etc.).

      The Good:

      * Simple, sleek, and cool--worthy of the Apple name.

      * Small size and relatively large display.

      * Navigation is straightforward, and syncing through iTunes is simple.

      * The radio feature with live pause is great. Now when I'm interrupted I can just pause and resume without missing the broadcast.

      * The video camera is a nice addition. As long as you realize it's more about convenience than quality you should be satisfied. On the Mac, your videos show up in iPhoto once you've enabled the Nano for disk use.

      * The silver color coordinates nicely with aluminum iMacs.

      The Bad:

      * I want a dedicated volume control. Yes, I know this would interrupt Apple's minimalist design philosophy, but some functions deserve their own physical controls. There are times when the scroll wheel controls other functions (menu navigation, traversing saved radio stations) and thus you can't directly, immediately change the volume, which I find annoying. Instead, I have to pause the unit first or navigate to "Now Playing", which is a hassle.

      * The Apple earbuds aren't going to win any audiophile awards. Their sound is pretty lousy, actually, but they're fine for listening when I'm engaged in an active task and don't have my full attention turned to listening.

      * It doesn't charge from certain older iPod accessories. I have a JBL Soundstage and an iHome under-counter player, and neither can charge/control the Nano. Apparently they use the Firewire rather than USB interface internally, which newer iPods don't support this anymore. You can still play the iPod through the devices though.

      * It's too easy to accidentally cover the camera lens when taking a video. I've found holding the Nano at the opposite end or along the edges works best, but it's a bit awkward due to the small size of the device.

      * VoiceOver is an interesting feature, but I turned it off because it kept getting unintentionally triggered when I scanned forward/back in a track (mostly for podcasts).

      * 16MB is probably enough for most people, but I have a large music collection and would like a larger memory option. Unfortunately this means moving to a bulkier model (the Touch or Classic).

"Great product for the price!" 2009-10-17
By Ahmad C. Hajmirsadeghi (oklahoma city)
This is a great case for the price. I had to cut out the circle that covers the scroll wheel, but just because my scroll wheel isn't very sensitive. I like this case because it is transparent, so you can still see the Apple logo through the back. I would recommend this product.

       "Nice Simple Case" 2009-08-25
By M. Fujii (San Luis Obispo, CA United States)
This case is a nice color, feels soft. Keeps the iPod clean and is easy to clean. Wheel turns fine through the case. I like that the back of the iPod can be seen through the case, so the engraving is still readable with the case on.

"better than expected from the other reviews" 2009-06-23
By Mogambo (SF Bay Area, CA)
I must say that this case is better than what I expected after reading other reviews. I have a G5 video ipod. I have not removed the protective plastic screen that the ipod came with and put the ipod in this case. I can still use the ipod wheel without any problem. The case protects ipod from accidental slips/skids/drops. I do think that the case is a bit loose for G5 ipod, especially around the window for ipod screen. It "feels" made for the newer ipod, contrary to one other review.

       "Returned" 2009-05-29
      By K. Adams
This did not fit my iPod well at all! It bowed out around the screen and looked ridiculous. Also, in the pics there is nothing on the back but the one I recieved had a large Incipio logo on it. I returned it, and bought a Belkin which I love!

Oh and itfyou have a black iPod, the pink is extremly dark and kind of dingy looking. I would only use this with a white iPod.

"Makes the Clickwheel impossible to use" 2009-04-21
      By Shoshana Schlosberg (Miami, FL)
I like the silicone cases, I've had one for my iPod 4thgen for years now. But this one had the clickwheel covered with silicone also. Granted the cover is thinner but it still makes using the clickwheel nearly impossible. I had to use a razor to cut around the click wheel, now it's perfect, but a better design would have been better.

There isn't much to say about the illustrious Ipod. Apple does it again. This time with the inclusion of FM radio and external speakers. Whats next -- removable batteries maybe??

Great product and great pricing. Amazon as always prompt shipping and ease of buying.

It seems there is no competition for Ipod.
