I mainly bought this for the plug in charger so I could charge my ipod nano when I wasn't around a computer. The usb cable that came with this kit didn't fit into my ipod, so I used my usb cable that came with the ipod. The plug in charger works fine, I haven't tried the car charger yet. The silicone case fits fine, but made it hard to use the click wheel, so I don't think I will be using it for daily use, just when I need a little extra scratch protection. For what I bought the kit for, it has worked out, but I would recommend planning on using your own usb cable that came with your ipod.
