Keeps my iP;hone up and running all day with juice to spare. On a trip from NY to LA, I watched two movies while in the air and it still did not exhaust.
Also, love its light weight and slim look. Best of all, I am able to keep it attached to the phone while I talk on it. All and all, I would say if you have an iPhone, this accessory is a must.

i bought this external battery for my Christmas gift to my daughter. She lamented that her iphone G would run out of power within a day. She shut down some functions to reduce battery usage but the iphone kept running out of power. I selected this product based upon price and good reviews. However, my daughter could not get it to work and then I tried it later after Christmas. It was fully charged according to the illuminated light indicator but when you depressed the button it would not work. I tried repeatedly to get the battery to work without success. I am happy with the return policy since I bought it in November and have returned the item in January with the quick speed of Amazon. I guess the old adage of you get what you pay for as when I was at Best Buy I saw the Mophie external battery case and it was $79.95. Have not decided it I want that device as the salesperson says they have one that is less expensive but bulkier as it uses AA batteries. Wishing I did not have to report that the Giessbach Backup External Battery failed. Bought two of these. They don't work on iPhone. Gives you an error message. Tried to contact seller to no response. Amazon responded and made it right but beware of this seller. Slow shipping also.

This portable battery charger works well with my iPhone 3GS. Nothing fancy but a full indicator is helpful to know when the unit is optimally charged. The little rubber cover on the business end of the charger is "a nice to have" since it protects the connector. Only thing is that it is not glitzy, but who needs more than a serviceable charger?
