Product is very useful. It's small and easy to pack up. It doesn't take up much extra space along with your iPod. If you're concerned about the sound quality and volume as compared to the iPod touch (2nd gen), it is far better. I was impressed. As for attaching it with cases, some cases may not fit, but others do. That's the only down side. But i still love the speaker. A good item for it's price.

Cons: Non At All, this is a great speaker for all of us iPod Touch 1st gen users.
If you are considering buying a 2nd gen touch because of the lack of speaker on your 1st gen then stop right now because you can just buy this portable speaker and your good to go. It wont fill the room at a party with sound and neather would a 2nd gen internal speaker but it will perform just as well as an internal speaker and make you proud of your 1st gen iTouch again.

This product is awesome. I don't have to use my headphones which is annoying. You can adjust the volume of it. The little drawback is putting the speaker in when I have a skin on my ipod touch. It doesn't want to go all the way in and work so I have to remove my skin which is a pain.

These little speakers are GREAT for hiking, running, cycling, etc. These allow you to hear your music without the possibility of damaging your ear drums with ear buds. They also allow you to hear your surrounding. There is no locking tab to hold the speakers in place, so I recommend using a rubber band to hold it in place while exercising. There are two small buttons for volume adjustments. The speakers are tiny, so don't expect boom box quality. Just enough sound, so you can hear the music without disturbing others around you.

This mini speaker has a lower volume than the 3G iPhone internal speaker. Also the iPhone has more bass. You would be better off purchasing an amplified speaker for your iPod or iPhone.
